summer is officially here...

i did manage to get lots organized...

and every single one of my layouts in an album...

and start a new collection...
cause i need another one like a hole in my head...

and work on a few sewing projects...
like adjusting the size of this swimsuit bottom..

and clean out stuff that i've been hanging on to forever..


and the prettiest thing of all...
i saw this somewhere and thought it was brilliant...
and it holds incredible amounts of ribbon...
like way more than unspooling and cramming it in a jar...

and sadly...i haven't scrapped one second in the last four months
so now you are caught...

Tis the season to be jolly

It's that busy busy time of year and once again I am thankful that I am no longer working in retail. (That goes for you too mom.) For the first time in forever I actually got to spend some "me" time today and created a few things with absolutely no pressure. I know I don't have to tell you how good it felt. *Note to self: do this more often*

I've gotta get packing for a road trip to the big D tomorrow. Parental time + lots and lots of shopping are on my agenda this weekend. Plus I think I might eat good sushi a few dozen times this weekend too. I can't wait! I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve! :D Yippieeee!

Again, if anyone is still tuning in here, I appreciate it more than you know. I'll leave you with my Story Kit projects for December. i've re-entered the rat race.
it's a challenging new adventure.

don't you love it when you find something that you had squirreled away in a drawer? it's like shopping in your own house. i found the metal frog that's seen in every picture above and had one of those happy moments. score one for me.

It feels like fall

Thanks to Gustav. It's 60 degrees right now and definitely September weather.
It was a crazy long weekend. Pretty typical for a Hanna/Coronado get together. We had our ex-next door neighbors in town and staying with us for the weekend. There was little sleep to be had as well as some yummy barbeque. Also, someone celebrated their birthday and someone broke their collar bone tripping over their own feet while playing football. Good times.

I've got just a few projects to share. First off, my scrapjacked of Christina Clouse, a.k.a. toomuchcoffeegirl:
