this just started as we were waking up this morning. 

it is quite the winter wonderland.

it's a great day to stay inside and be creative.

and drink hot chocolate and eat cookies,

unless you are a child and are outside being creative,

but who will eventually come inside for some hot chocolate and cookies.

of course that's only when they can't feel their face anymore..hehhee!

Who's ready for Christmas?

i am almost ready for Christmas. just a few last-minute details to wrap up.

lots of baking going on at my house and no one has had a sugar overload yet.

the kiddos are gonna make these fun snowmen this weekend.  

 

i made these yummy fudge-covered marshmallows as seen on the martha stewart show.

lots of work, but very worth all the effort.

three sylables describe them: de*lici*ous.

it's the most wonderful time of the year

the journalling reads: seeing your reaction on Christmas morning when you open the "traditional" socks & underwear present!

i have been making tons of ornaments and decorations. this is the first time in what seems like forever that i am truly enjoying december. working in retail really sucks the fun and true meaning of Christmas out of you. i can't believe i did it for so long. oh yes, i do know every word and every artist to every Christmas song ever made, but that doesn't stop me from listening to them all day long. it's time to get busy making a few presents for the grandparents and some of those yummy-sounding fudge covered marshmallows that i saw on martha stewart.

even though i have no idea how you got to be this age.
it happened overnight.
seriously.
wasn't i just going into labor and having contractions for a miserable couple of days??
love you 'lil bub. so much more than you'll know.

oh yes, the party went well.
all employees were gone by 10:30 p.m.

happy december.
